Perséphone is a polyptych work focused on contemporary puppetry arts. Produced between 2020 and 2024, it is divided into several parts : a short film, a multimedia installation and different forms of performances. The myth of Persephone tells of her journey into the underworld of Hades and the grief of her mother, Demeter, who suspends the fertility of the earth. Created in the form of a palimpsest between mythical references and personal mythology, this rereading of the myth traces the trajectory of a quest for feminine identity. Performers, puppets, masks and models are animated using alternating live motion and stop-motion techniques.
